ABOUT
Brian H. Keene is a creative professional based in Frisco, Tx.

I started out studying fine arts, specializing in oil painting and digital graphics.
Following college I began managing the music department at two different Barnes & Nobles where I embraced the challenge of revitalizing underperforming departments characterized by mediocre sales, low morale, and a high shrink rate. I along with my team were able rise to the #2 performing department out of 54 locations, and reduce shrink by 500%!
Soon there after, I received a call from my father, whose medical practice that was experiencing some of the same issues of low morale and declining income. I stepped in as General Manager and became the primary contact for 200+ doctors, executing a modernization plan, creating a solid web presence and developing a digital and direct mail marketing strategy that netted a 400% increase in profit.
After some time, I started my own company, became an Amazon seller, rented a 3,000 sq. ft. warehouse and imported custom designed book and DVD trunks so my children and others could store their Harry Potter items. It's great success spawned additional online retail locations on Etsy and Ebay.
During this time I picked up other creative skills that I use every day: 3D printing, design and animation, architectural rendering, CNC, performing voice-overs, woodworking and designing board games.
As the online retail landscape has evolved, I knew it was time for a change.
If it involves creating cool products or making existing products better with my hands or on a computer, I'm probably into it and pretty decent at it.
